  1. Yeah...everyone knows who burned the Reichstag. It was a Dutch communist named Marinus van der Lubbe, and he was caught red handed. He was acting alone, it wasn't part of any conspiracy, and he wasn't the brightest person to begin with. And the Nazis were extreme left, not extreme right. They're SOCIALISTS for Christ's sake. They were all about total government control over everything, and a centralized, planned economy. Hitler himself stated that the main difference between his own ideology and communism was that communism was international while National Socialism was specifically German.
