  1. Today, Iowa wins. She still exists (albeit as a museum), while Yamato is somewhere at the bottom of the Pacific. In reality, Yamato just demonstrated the obsolescence of the battleship as she was sunk by bombs and torpedoes from carrier based aircraft. Fucking with the US Navy is just a really bad idea.

  5. Kerwin C Yeah, and the PLAN with their half-assed carrier Lioning couldn't expect to win a confrontation with the US Navy under any circumstances. The modern United States Navy is by far and beyond THE maritime force in world history. Any naval force you want to mention? We're better. You say that Britannia rules the waves? I love the British, but even they must admit that America rules the waves in ways they could only dream of.

  6. Kommervenkki Kommervenkki I agree that the EU is a disaster for countries like Finland where they believe in liberty and self determination. I don't know much about Finland other than that you're allowed to own guns, unlike most of Europe, and that makes me believe that Finland is rather sane by European standards. But the paynim savages are overrunning Europe. I don't know about Finland specifically, but Germany, France, and Scandinavia are essentially gone already. Merkel is going to destroy Europe.

  8. The ROC exists because the PRC doesn't want a fight with the US. Our China policy is retarded, we technically admit the existence of one China, yet we have a mutual defense pact with Taiwan. As far as I'm concerned (and I only speak for myself), the ROC is the only legitimate Chinese government, the PLC is a horrid, human rights abusing criminal enterprise, and the Chinese people will topple the PRC in my lifetime. One Chinese man stood up against tanks in 1989, and the world saw that. the Chinese people are a threat the likes of which the PRC could never know.
