The British soldier is one of the very few on par with an American, but in the end, our military is exponentially larger than yours, and far better equipped (sorry, but the L85 is a massive piece of shit), and in the end, that would make the difference. But as a former Marine myself, I'd much rather have a drink with the Brits than shoot at them.

  2. TheRagingGamer In the Revolution? No, they didn't. They set up a naval blockade that was quite important, but the actual fighting was won by Americans. The French had a few troops that saw a bit of action at Yorktown, but they were by no means the main force. Cornwallis attempted to surrender his sword to Rochambeau rather than Washington not because he thought it was a French victory, but because he at least respected Rochambeau as an equal and not an upstart colonist. Rochambeau refused to accept the surrender because it was Washington's victory and everyone knew it.
