  1. The military didn't pick that ridiculous camouflage pattern. The Army did. None of the other branches wore that crap. And the reason? The Marine Corps got our new patterns, which are actually good, and the Army didn't want us looking better than they did, so, in a desperate effort to keep up with the Joneses, they rushed through their own digital pattern, with the "universal" camouflage scheme that worked in gravel pits, old ladies' couches, and nowhere else. It was dumb of them to do so.
