  1. The Nuremberg trials were a kangaroo court. First, the entire thing was ex post facto laws. Second, the jurisdiction trying the cases was entirely imaginary. Third, the French and Soviets were allowed to be part of it. French "justice" is a joke, and the Soviet Union was the one regime in the world that was as bad if not worse than the Nazis, and having Soviet criminals trying Nazi criminals removed any air of legitimacy. Some Soviet "judge" who would send people to their deaths en masse and for no reason was in no position to pass judgement on anyone else for sending people to their deaths en masse and for no reason.
