I also prefer the cheap squishy earplugs. Of course, as I write this, my cat has gotten into a drawer where I had some, and proceeded to tear one apart and scatter chunks of it all over the place, which means I'm going to have to sweep it up as soon as I'm done watching. And that I'll have to relocate them to a drawer that she can't get into.

@jimwadsworth4187 It's a matter of the ones she can reach from the floor or counter and the ones she can't. If I put the earplugs in a higher drawer, or one below a counter (she hasn't figured out how to open them from the top...yet), then they'd be reasonably secure.
