Yeah, like the jets, V-1 and V-2, primitive night vision scopes, early helicopters, etc. Just because they also had a lot of ambitious and somewhat ridiculous ideas (and they did) doesn't mean that they weren't actually quite advanced. The V-2 rockets were literally the first man-made object ever to make it into space. That's pretty advanced.

AppleJooc Park Except for the jets, helicopters, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, night vision, select fire carbines, etc.

AppleJooc Park The British Meteor jets never saw any action over Europe and the American P-80 wasn't introduced until after the war.

@Lowlightt This is simply not true, and is not even a comment which can be reasonably defended. German tech at the end of WWII was far more advanced than anyone else's in a number of areas. While their manufacturing had taken a massive hit and sometimes their design philosophy wasn't great, it is not a reasonable comment to make that their tech was no more advanced than anyone else's. In firearms, the StG44 was well ahead of its time, as was the MG42 (a design still in use today by many European armies). In areas like submarine design, jet aircraft, and especially rocketry, they were again far ahead of everyone else.

@cymond Advanced tech does not imply an efficient weapons system. The V2 may not have been effective, but it was certainly the cutting edge of technology.
