  1. Cool concept, but I'm skeptical as to any practical use. Anyone who is going to be clearing rooms professionally will be armed with something more practical - a carbine or a submachine gun, or at least a more traditional pistol. Even in a private home defense scenario, if you're using a Kel-Tec, you've made a series of bad choices already, and I'm not sure this technique will be helpful. As for designing a pistol specifically for this purpose, again, I'm not sure there's a market for it. Between AR "pistols"/SBRs and PCCs/braced "pistols", there are already a number of options on the market that do what this does better. Someone designs something like this and tries to bring it to market, I suspect that it ends up on Forgotten Weapons in a different context.

  2.  @matthaught4707  The problem with that is that no matter what, an SMG or a carbine is going to be available for anyone who needs to be clearing rooms, and is still going to be a better option. This may be a cool theoretical exercise, but I still don't see any practical application for it.
