  1. I'm left handed, and when I shoot bolt action rifles, I reach over the rifle and cycle the bolt with my left hand too. Only exception is if the rifle has a pistol grip. I learned that the hard way when I took a chunk of my left thumb out with the bolt of a Kar98K.
