  1. ⁠ @faveology  Obama had a lot of character and the result was a presidency that failed to deliver most of his campaign promises, and primed Republicans for a resurgence. It’s why the needle didn’t move much in the polls after Kamala humiliated Trump in the debate. Character isn’t enough these days to sway voters.

  2.  @TeeheeTennessy  People have doubts that Kamala will actually achieve her policy. They sound like lip service. Remember the last time a charismatic and smooth-talking Dem came in selling the idea of hope and good policy? The result was a 2 term presidency that failed to deliver most of its campaign promises. People see echoes of Obama in Kamala’s current presidential run & it just doesn’t sit well after Obama failed to meet what he promised.
