Neither can immaterialists. It’s an unresolved puzzle that defies explanation attempts from any school of thought currently.

Hierarchy of needs. That’s literally it. Should someone whose hierarchy of needs are being met, deprive themselves of higher discussion, because another simulation somewhere on this planet isn’t having its needs met? Why is it an individuals responsibility to ensure a societal hierarchy of needs that is uniformly met? When said societies cannot even agree on individual topics and ideas?

Considering he’s a dual degreed Masters/Ph.D, working as a Principal AI Engineer at Intel Labs. I’d say yeah, he probably believes this & has good reason to. He’s working on synthetic intelligence, AKA artificial intelligence. You don’t advance a field of study by being wrong. To create a synthetic intelligence, is to have mastered the understanding of what makes humans sentient. True artificial intelligence doesn’t exist yet, but the field continues to advance. What some consider an impossibility, others consider an inevitability. So long as progress can continue to be made, I lean on it being an inevitability.

No it is not. The loop itself is finite. The ability for something to loop within that construct is contingent on the ability of the construct to exist. Entropy ensures nothing can exist as a single state forever. Therefore, a finite construct, containing a looping mechanism is finite in the number of times it may loop. If there is an end, than it is not an infinity.

You tried so hard, yet you arrived at the incorrect conclusion.
