  3. I think he’s just really bad at explaining it. Everything in our knowledge of physics is explained with dumbed down human-centric models. Our models don’t really show what’s happening, rather the models are designed to be comprehended by humans to give a rough idea of what’s actually happening. It’s improving over time, such as the electron going from a ball to a cloud. But we still need to make more progress. Like we need to figure out how to better visualize quantum spin, without referencing a spinning ball visual. Just like our science is a work in progress and slowly evolving, so is our actual physical evolution. Our species is a work in progress in understanding tangible reality & we likely are heavily skewed towards evolutionary fitness. As we continue to exit natural selection & enter artificial selection. It may be possible for humanity to begin developing traits that allow us to comprehend tangible reality. Or we might make AI capable of comprehending tangible reality. An example of this might be that we could possibly live in a 4 dimensional universe. However survivorship bias has skewed life to perceive only 3 dimensions as those are somehow favorable for survivability. Somewhere out there might be a species evolved to perceive all 4 dimensions, or we might make an AI capable of 4th dimensional perception.
