May I ask why you’re against automation? Historically, automation has enriched the lives of humanity & created opportunity for better jobs. Without automation, we would all still be out manually plowing fields.

@bubbafatas2588 I’ve watched the field of Nuero-science bloom before my eyes throughout my lifetime. I’m in awe at the things we understand now that we’re shrouded in mystery just 15 years ago. My view is never doubt something that is making tangible progress, and the field of neuroscience is definitely on its way.

@bubbafatas2588 Yes. The cosmos is nearly impossible to traverse in a biological form. Humans are also limited by our processing ability. We have insanely complex brains, but we can’t run trillions of processes in a second. Quantum computing is getting to that point. Quantum powered artificial intelligence will be able to find and consider things that humanity hasn’t even had the time to consider. A symbiosis between artificial and natural is the key to mastering and exploring the cosmos. AI might help us figure out if brain upload is possible to the digital realm. I would gladly leave my organic body behind if it means I could explore the wonders of the universe.
