  1. As a pro contractor, I had a good laugh at the idiots that went to volunteer. The shitstorm this kid is talking about was utterly predictable. At least I had decent kit, military and warfighting experience, like the guys around me AND very well paid. Yes, Lougheed Martin, et al will make profits, so if you put your skin in the game, why do it for free? One would have to be a true believer or a useful idiot.

  3.  @Theviewerdude  yes, this would be operating in an area where the adversary has a full array of weapons, not some local hillbillies with AK, RPG and the occasional IED. In 8 yrs of working in Afg lost 22 guys. That would be a weekend in Eastern Ukraine.
