@simonw1313 it's too late to use a gun after you are attacked. And at the close range, it is not possible to unholster the gun as a show of force as there is a very good chance that an assailant could take it out of your hand.

@fairymagic697 he should have. I'm no lawyer, but I think the victim of harassment has to initiate the complaint. Not a prosecutor. The delivery guy could have initiated a criminal AND civil suit. Imagine claiming PTSD, etc against idiot prankster... I think he should.
