A country that funds its war thru savings rather than debt. An alien concept in the west. High interest rates is NOT bad for investing. Its bad for BORROWING. ECO 101.

@stevewhite3424 Right? The EU economies are in decline. GDP growth is from negligible to negative. They are funding their own budgets and the war in Ukraine with debt. Forget about "rebuilding" their militaries. Only 3 NATO members can make the 2% commitment.

But living in Kharkiv, there is a high probability that OP is ethnic Russian and, 2 the way Anders does "analysis" on the war and Ukr winning, 2023 counter attack, Russia running out of tanks/missiles/troops, etc there is high probability that the city will be Russian territory when this war ends.
