  1. Fun Fact: out of all the territories occupied by the 3rd Reich, only Serbia, Poland and Greece did not raise Waffen SS units.... However, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Bulgaria, Albania, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Romania, and Ukraine did. Let's call it the first EU 🤣

  3.  @boggisthecat  Agreed. But I focused only on the occupied countries. Otherwise, we can include SS volunteers from Iceland, Arab legions, India, Switzerland, Sweden and some US/UK POWs (although that was never really successful). It is interesting that Greek POWs never spent much time in captivity; a few months in Czechoslovakia and then released back to Greece. The best news about Mariupol came out shortly after the ethnic Greeks arrived in Greece... for about 48hrs then the govt/MSM shut them down.

  5. True. And why the difference? One population suffered under nazi occupation and the other didn't. The war was in their country unlike Canada/USA. Greeks hating nazis today is in their DNA. It's also in the Russian DNA and probably stronger.
