  10. Having spent almost a decade in Afghanistan, I have no sympathy for the government. They have fucked up the effort with their corruption and greed. They thought the international community would pour money into the area forever. But they were wrong. The IC finally fucked them off. Most of the population will have to suck it up as they've always done. But the corrupt elite will retreat to their Dubai villas.
