Well nationalism is the belief that your country not only exists but it has an inherent right to exist So it makes sense that the fervor of that belief could rival those of a religious beliefs And you can have competing nationalist ideas existing in one nation probably the two most common competing nationalism ideas we see discussed the most often are the nationalist idea of state of Palestine and the nationalist idea of the state of Israel Even in the united states there's still competing nationalism ideas From those more well known and infamous such as who want the CSA to be revived, to others less well known but still advocating a secessionist movement such as Independent Puerto Rico

Yep it's either barter or primal physical might (or the threat there of) to gain what you want when money is gone

Hey India at least you got your sanctions lifted, your rival pakistan hasn't had them lifted

"Communism? Sorry tried it, didn't work and we have 500 million corpses to prove it"

@nikolatasev4948 no nationalism is nothing to do with culture but good comment nonetheless

Yep pretty much you take away the ability to have money as a means of exchange you didn't solve the problem all you did was create a vacuum for something else to fill it And we all know nature abhors a vacuum If I can't use money to obtain what I need then I revert to the archaic system of barter or the even older system of primal physical might to obtain what I need

Too hot and too acidic, not even if a human would be standing on a venereal equivalent of Mt Everest would they be safe from atmospheric pressure, acidic climate, and thousands high temperatures

Massive amounts of hard labor typically you want about 3200 calories

India even has steel manufacturing but the terror group the Naxilites is also active in the same area

Yeah sort of.... there still was little to no scientific and data to be gathered from this type of mission I mean that's great that they made it to the surface of Venus and feet that's never been replicated, give praises to the engineers by all means But it kind of was more of a publicity stunt than anything else very similar to the Soviets exploding the largest nuclear bomb on Earth Tsar Bomba I mean at that 50 megatons you have no practical use in warfare as your aircraft to diver it's payload it would be so slow it could be easily shot out of the sky so you know there's a lot of diminishing returns, and that same concept of diminishing returns can also be applied to these Venus missions

They also said that they flash froze it prior to it launching into the atmosphere of Venus

@David_jdmc You got tungsten that will withstand a severe amount of heat

It's also because the nation of japan is extremely homogeneous so when they want to plot a course of direction in government policy it's much easier to achieve because they aren't fighting as hard and needing to persuade as much to other groups within the nation to follow policy Contrast that to the US, in which it has thousands of different ethnic, racial, ideological, and religious groups within it's population that it has to cater to and win over

I'm pretty sure you can't land because there's no surface

Man that is just so overly confusing and unnecessary 🤣

No, quantitative easing is trying to reduce/increase the macro level of inflation a nation is experiencing by bringing the lending rates between banks down/up, and theoretically reducing/increasingly the overall money in circulation on a national scale These guys abolished all but one singular state bank in some weird attempt to have firm control over the national economy, meaning there's no one left to lend money to
1
@Verbindungs no, it's all about reducing/increasing rates of lending between banks on a national macro scale

oh without a doubt I really do not like Japan's criminal system at all They run an inquisitive system where they take the concept of innocent until proven guilty and it's flipped on its head under the Japanese you are guilty until proven innocent And they can detain you for months without notifying you of even being formally charged for any crime
1
@RonJohn63 yeah I just wanted to put an additional for massive amounts of hard labor 2600 is great but anything 3000 over is if you're working like an ox
1
Thanks I'm going to add it to my list

Oh no not at all one of my very first examples of the Japanese government having scandalous and corruptive behavior was the long after this one but it was when the Japanese governments did something similar to what the US did when they took in the Shah of Iran for asylum The Japanese government took in the president of Peru, president fujimori, and they refused to extradite him back to Peru so he could face all the corruption charges and extrajudicial killing charges that he was having to answer for when during his presidency and I'd still to this day do not know why the Japanese government refused to extradite him except for the fact that fujimori was himself an ethnic Japanese man born in Peru so they just used race as the singular means for defense of refusal to extradite And that is extremely corrupt and disgusting behavior and in fact it was only the border nation of Chile that actually acted upon the extradition order in 2007 and FINALLY sent the criminal president back to Peru to be prosecuted and convicted
