Everyday I am extremely happy that the US does not have an uncodified constitution like that in the UK Sure it might be easier to make changes to an uncodified constitution compared to the US's codified and indeed the US is infamous in how slow its bureaucratic process can be An example is the US didn't have federal law for workplace safety until 1970 a full 60 years after the infamous new york fire that cost the lives of over 100 women workers who were quite literally locked in to their workspace and forced to burn alive or jump from a dizzying height to their demise But when the UK parliament panics and wants to strip away rights and protections to its citizens it is also an easier process to do so
