The New York and the aerial drones reminds me of the anime called Tank Police If you aren't familiar, the premise of the show was that government and law enforcement allowed criminality to reach such high extremes that to combat against it the police service needed to militarize intensely to that of the standing army with quite literally utilizing tanks as the common patrol car

  2. Agreed just look at China they have the largest mass surveillance problem not to mention a social credit system and it still doesn't solve all the criminal aspects within the country
