  2. RoyPhee and yes NATO and the west did "bitch" about the annexation of crimea, its why they imposed sanctions on Russia and why they persist today. The problem was Ukraine was not a NATO country though it was wanting to be. Unfortunately Russia has since stated it will never allow additonal former soviet nations to join NATO as was the case for Georgia in 2008. So there was little the west could do other than direct confrontation

  3. I'll put the matter of being paid to live in Alaska to rest. According to Alaska state legislature, since 1982 every legal resident that's every man woman and child is given a stipend from the state. However you must be a legal resident who has resided in the state for sometime, one year I believe, and be intend to stay indefinitely. You are also disqualified for the stipend if you are convicted of a felony. Also it doesn't matter how long you have resided in the state the stipend paid is the same for every legal resident. One other thing, the amount has been changed over the years it started at 1000 but has been dropped to lowest of 300 and raised to highest 2000. Currently it sits at 1600

Yeah that's pretty much spot on, you hit the nail on the head and that state capitalism mentality really took off in the 1960s when South Korea slipped into a dictatorship under Pak Chung Hee, the economy of South Korea quadrupled and rose exponentially under his administration but of course at great cost of human, privacy, and labor rights during his era It got so bad that he ended up being assassinated by the CIA (Korea called it's own domestic intelligence agency the CIA as well during that time period, they've since renamed to the National Intelligence Service)

I've always said that it doesn't matter how many times I take public transportation to save on my own emissions with my car the mere fact that a billionaire of Bezos's caliber can spend over 30,000 gallons of jet fuel in a month with his private flights back and forth to the Caribbean, the West coast, Hawaii, and then the East coast, proves that my "contribution" is completely negated and negligible And I will not let anyone try to shame or guilt me because I'm driving a gas powered vehicle

Yep millions of Americans will vote....... except the about 2.7 million American citizens whose birthplace/legal residence is in Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and Northern Mariana Islands. The US used to have ELF capability until 1980 when they decommissioned the ELF facility because the antenna was over 2.2 miles long and the output power requirements were too expensive to maintain.

  27.  @henrivanbemmel  you don't seem to understand that unless you get these millionaires and billionaires to comply with the same amount of regulations and restrictions that we put upon ourselves we will never solve this that no matter how many times you and I cut back on our emissions they will render our contribution to cutting back negligible in a shorter span of time because they have a large amount of financial assets enabling them to utilize these greater methods of luxuries, such as private air travel, Luxuries like that which pollute 30 times more than what you and I do on a daily basis And fuel that goes into jet engines and private airplanes is more pollutive and more damaging than an entire Year's worth of what you and I put out with our vehicles so no don't even try to come at me with this weak response
