I don't know if you're really a true Ukrainian but I will agree it's disgusting that people want to proclaim to everyone who will listen how much they "stand with Ukraine" simply because it's seen as a positive thing and they want all this positive attention directed towards them I can support Ukraine just because I don't want to see them suffering but I'm not going to go out and shout it at the top of my lungs on the streets And I'm not going to post the Ukrainian flag everywhere I see on social media I think that's meaningless and a very tokenistic understanding of the issue and Ukrainian people as a whole While I'm not in the position to directly support Ukraine the only thing I did do was donate at least $100 to the Ukrainian Central Bank and I'm not ever going to post that on Facebook or Instagram or anywhere else because I really don't want the clout from it
