I definitely agree that there should be an amendment to the Constitution that if you are convicted of a felony you cannot be in any part of office Currently there is nothing preventing you from running for an elected office no matter your criminal history

@sw3783 I specifically said CONVICTED of felony charges and felonies are the highest of criminal charges and a damn good indication of the person that you are dealing with Lower level criminal misdemeanors obviously don't matter, because yes everybody that casts a vote actually does want the representatives to be as moral as they possibly can It's why potential candidates try to paint themselves in the brightest light as possible when it comes to morals

@sw3783 I think it's weird that you're confusing and defending hypothetical candidates with proven CONVICTION of high felony charges with that of: "this guy said something weird on Twitter and therefore is immoral so don't vote for them" type of morons
