Bear in mind the Roman roads were never subjected to an average weight of 2 metric tons of metal and fiberglass driving across them every 15 minutes

I love that you got the theme song for Mucha Lucha by the band Chicos de barrio playing in the background 😊 Man 2002 was a great year for cartoons

Yes but they're also not subjected to a repeated use of an average weight of 2 metric tons of metal and fiberglass moving across them every 15 minutes at 50 mph

Pretty sure they invented the idea of memes about themselves, some of the oldest forms of graffiti are just that memes, jokes, and shit posts

Yeah no, the modern concrete we use as much better because we can actually have the concrete dry underwater ergo we can both build underwater if need be and we can build faster since the concrete doesn't have to worry about the elements

@moritamikamikara3879 no you don't as Roman roads tended to be cobblestone in style They serve as a foundation from which you've built the rest of your roads upon And you've expanded as well as you've converted some of them into modern normal roads but you don't use them every day for modern cars as they are ill-suited

Understand that Roman roads were never subjected to literally millions of tonnage of traffic on a daily basis like our modern day equivalent hence why they "survived" the ages

@sr_cln nah mate mexico has great musical tradition, heck the song your listening to in this video is by the band Los lobos, Mucha Lucha

Thanks I've been trying to say this as well the modern roads take a beating on a daily basis that the Roman equivalent was never subjected to and the fact that our modern roads are able to last half a century in spite of literal millions of tonnage passing over them on a daily basis is nothing short of a marvel

@xaquko9718 I find it highly doubtful that any ancient civilization particularly the Romans ever figured out the secrets to casting and pouring concrete that would dry underwater
