yep always recognized the fact they never showed dead bodies on th news. the Pentagon learned from Vietnam, they limit the coverage of news broadcasters so its a lot more difficult to challenge or think critically about why the use of force is being used. one of the reasons the Vietnam war support plummeted was americans were seing graphic scenes and dead bodies of VC and American combatants on an almost daily basis, in full detail. No household can stomach that grapic depiction no matter how patriotic and militant you are. So the Pentagon ensures that limits are in place when it comes to stories like these. and yes it is propaganda.
