  2.  @sup9542  ironically that is a very old attitude because that's what the Bolsheviks and later the Communists would adopt to justify their actions even when they were criminal in nature And you can see it also reflected in the modern day Chinese who quite literally tore down their heritage via the cultural revolution and said anything in the past was a weight that was holding them back "destroy it all"

Man it's really interesting that Disney is showing disrespect to the one movie that saved the company from bankruptcy back then A full length featured animated film was unheard-of at the time an everyone doubted Disney and told him he should abandon it yet he persisted and took the risk and it payed off for generations down the road
