I'm gonna disagree, it's story isn't anything too different than the first one And the visuals aren't enough to keep me interested

@Felatay not to mention some of the lines are literally recycled from the first movie

I'm going to disagree I don't recommend seeing it unless you are a Cameron fan you're not going to get anything different than the first one the story is almost exactly the same heck some of the lines from the first movie are literally recycled and reused in the second movie
2
@GaryBonaducci I never said literally exactly the same There are however lines from the first movie that are literally exactly the same But it is eerily similar in terms of plot line it's like a plot line that's so similar between the Hangover and then The Hangover 2 I don't see too much of a difference, if you're a fan of the first one you're going to be a fan of the second one. Or if you're just an overall fan of James Cameron you're going to enjoy this movie no matter what but yes you cannot deny this plot is full of surface level cliches and hey some folks like it, But the repeating plot elements is very much a similar thing in terms of an overarching plot of: The Hangover and The Hangover 2 and then The Hangover 3 All of them had similar plots

I don't think so especially after James Cameron just said that testosterone is "literal poison"

I dunno I watched it too but I wasn't blown away like I was with Top gun Maverick, and went back and saw it 4 times
2
District 9 did a much better job of telling a story similar to Avatar
2
Yeah I saw Top gun Maverick at least 3 times in the theater it was that good

I don't think anything by Cameron will "bomb" but yeah artistically avatar was not his best the story was bland but hey if a bland story is what it takes to be a financial success then what will you focus on?
1
@Bob_Jones123 not having depth is a characteristic of bland, yes I am hopeful but also cautious since so much has changed since 2009

You missed out on top gun Maverick then

I've never really wanted art to fail but James Cameron he's gone really far off the deep end and I think if this did fail it would finally bring some reality back into him Look James Cameron you've never had a single flop in your career but if you did it would force you to be a little humble I mean Steven Spielberg was forcibly humbled when War of the worlds was a flop
