Yeah I don't like the fact that maul lived I wish he really didn't It would have been more impactful if they did use his brother Savage to come back for revenge

I still say it was not that good of an event merely an excuse of plot armor to bring back a character that everyone liked It has been much more impactful if they had his brother just come by himself to get revenge or Maul and his story could have explored more in flash backs to the past or episodes set in the past

@chasgalaxy6721 it's still not a good idea though to down play the severity of the injury and have it be survivable merely because your a "popular" character That's bad writing Granted they expanded maul and his story for the better I will agree but the execution of HOW was bad As in order to give him a story to tell they first had to give Maul a Deus ex machina so he could survive

@chasgalaxy6721 as I said prior great expansion of his story horrible execution A deus ex machina is the equivalent of you writing yourself in the corner and not knowing how to solve the problem you you just solve it "off screen" They used that for Maul and it's not a good sign luckily they didn't use it again for his story

@chasgalaxy6721 sure it's something but you don't start it with a deus ex machina is all I'm saying they got lucky If you ever get into writing, and I hope you do because we need a lot more people that can provide quality alternatives to what the mainstream is putting out these days, Learn from their mistakes
