They are there but they aren't nearly at the levels of stress the US government has to face when compared to China As the largest city in the US has only 9 million people, whereas China has multiple cities of over 20 million

@unassumingaccount395 I dunno every time someone wants to criticize the US government and its failures they jump to the topic of racism very quickly 🤔 Like you I personally I think that's such a low hanging fruit and not a good indication of government quality. Because again the US has made significant progress in guaranteeing the rights of all it's citizens and admitting past mistakes while other nations like China claim to never had them in the first place To which I say which the genocide towards the Uyghurs in Xinjiang is evidence to the contrary. And China further demands you never criticize China unless you are perfect, which is of course impossible, because no single nation is perfect. My main concern with the Chinese mainland government is it's a single party state, dissenting opinions cannot be expressed in anyway shape or form, unlike in the US If you absolutely loathe the US government you can talk about that, hell you can write a blog post on it over 5000 words long and share it to all your friends You can't do that in China, if you did you'd be arrested and your family will suffer. it's what irks me the most, because I firmly believe "that while I may not agree with what you say I'll defend to the death your right to say it"

Well I'm sorry buddy but Canada has issues you just don't want to look for them because we all like stereotypes when they are the positive stereotypes, one such issue was documented by the YT Channel Minute Earth in 2015 they are are destroying an ecosystem used by the indigenous communities in the Canadian province of Nunavut to search for oil and have been doing so continuously non stop since the project started They have a sonic canon that goes off every 30 seconds to map the sea floor, this is very disruptive to the fishing and seal population upon which the indigenous population is greatly dependent on

@unassumingaccount395 yes but the US acknowledges it exists and provides laws to combat it the Chinese mainland government does not have any laws in place to guarantee rights and prevent discrimination for anyone who is not Chinese
