Laowhy86 I believe you are incorrect in regards towards the ideas of Nationalism, Patriotism and Jingoism What you call Nationalism and what you see being done here by these Chinese brainwashing these children is more akin to Jingoism not Nationalism, Nationalism at it's core is merely the belief that your concept of a nation exists and has a right to exist You do it everyday when you say Taiwan is a country (which it is) that's Nationalism at play right there, a Taiwanese brand of Nationalism But yeah Nationalism often births both Patriotism and Jingoism. Jingoism is basically Patriotism run amok, it's the belief that your country is exclusive to a certain group of individuals and it's very aggressive in promoting the "strength" of the nation in question and also very aggressive in denouncing the perceived enemies of the nation
