Yeah it's going to be a long time and I'm sad too because I ultimately know even though I would like the protest to succeed they're not going to the CCP has entrenched itself firmly into the government of China and will never be unseated unless a full blown military rebellion or coup takes place Remember the Chinese populace suffered badly during the great leap forward, to the point they were eating tree bark and still starving More people died from that event than the entirety of Russians did during WW2, and the Russians lost 20 million! If THAT didn't result in the CCP loosing it's iron grip on power I don't know what will

@henrywalles That's both semantics and you're actively ignoring point: the point being that the Chinese literally suffered more deaths in the 1950s-60s from the great leap forward than the worst suffering Nation in the worst war that mankind has ever known as a means to illustrate the evil nature that is the Chinese Communist Party And instead, attempting to shift that focus to a bunch of labels and National identities not shown getting their accurate "share" of the WW2 suffering That's a common Communist tactic: relabel, redefine, and shift focus

I don't want to sound cruel or not supportive of these protests and the protesters they are literally risking their lives but I feel it must be said Unless segments of the Chinese military joins in the protest there is no way any protest will bring about government change in China 1) these protesters have no arms(all private gun sales are banned across the nation) so there's no way these protests could blossom into something like a revolution with the citizens rising up 2) they have no tactics (none of them has ever tried to organize a civil disobedience movement) 3) they have no funding(their bank accounts are linked and can be seized upon for the smallest of infractions) 4) and they have no place to organize (because of the highly sophisticated mass surveillance system in place in China)
