"Wow! Well in that case since I can't arrest you you're expelled from my country, I have legal power to do that, I want you on a plane in xx hours" "And don't even think of hiding in your embassy I've got full legal authority to enter the grounds to enforce my expulsion since you're a legally recognized ambassador and when you were installed in this position I had to accept your ambassadorship in the first place"

@Cypher84X no you can actually be deported from a country even as a member of embassy staff or consulate staff and not be charged of a crime your diplomatic immunity does not prevent you from being expelled from a country, it merely just prevents you from being arrested and held in detention

@mrfish9876 I'm not sure if he's an actual ambassador or a consulate if he's an ambassador he can't be arrested because he has diplomatic immunity but he can be expelled, nations expel and recall/replace foreign ambassadors all the time and he can't hide in his embassy forever to avoid it like Julian Asange If a notice of expulsion would actually come down from the UK government they have full Legal authority to enter the grounds and enforce the expulsion But they are loathe to do so as the Chinese government ALSO has the same authority regarding any foreign ambassadors within their own country and would also very likely retaliate, and do the same thing to any British embassy staff in beijing or worse any British passport holder inside the country of China and/or hold them for Ransom under kidnapped diplomacy like they did with the 2 canadian michaels

@Cypher84X yeah I know I commented the same thing that if it was to happen the Chinese would retaliate and probably do the same thing to any British embassy or consulate staff and then go one step further and take anybody has a British passport in China and hold them in hostage diplomacy just like they did with the Canadian Michaels But I really do think there is a strong case to expel the man as he literally got caught in 4k camera trying to beat someone to death
