I agree, it's far better to reveal the faults of a man to help humanize him I respect MLK jr more knowing that he struggled with adultery all his life despite him claiming to be a man of God and also his unknowingly use of plagerism on his theological dissertation And I also respect Mandela more because he suffered consequences for having advocated for the use of scumbag terror tactics such as child soldiers in resisting the S. African regime And yet once he got out of prison he rescinded his support for such tactics and helped bridge the gap as best he could between the two groups w/o violence Presenting these faults helps with the idea that men even good ones, can struggle. It the dumbfuks that think 1 fault is more than enough to simply erase all the success they gained in their life

  9. @jshowa o agreed you have to be fair and willing to allow all aspects of a story be talked about But i think Washington's good actions far outshines his bad ones Just like Nelson Mandela, where he advocated for child soldiers by the ANC which is unforgivable but at the same time Mandela helped end a regime And those good actions outshine his bad ones despite his failures
