  2. It would be a good idea but it's not that effective in the United States as rail transport has been dwindling over the past century and the rail network of the United States is not built up to the same effect as the road Network that already exists in the United States

  3.  @rui.craveiro  I never said it was a result of nature that the US built up road networks over rails But I am saying that because they did the rail network will need billions of dollars in infrastructure spending to bring it up to its potential And that's a tough sell for the US gov to its citizens
