  16. While trump does indeed deserve his criticisms. Those that dislike him are exceptionally eager to promote that idea. In their minds he can do no right at all. So these individuals have to also be cautiously dealt with. As it stands Anti-trump rhetoric is insanely popular and there are many who will take that stance merely to promote themselves and their livelihood. Please let yourself always err on the side of caution when dealing with these people. And be on the lookout for their counterparts; those individuals who believe trump can do no wrong.

  17. 3 things for context: 1) To understand the scope of the disaster if the 3 gorges dam ever failed; The entirety of the population of the United States is about 380 millon and Canada is about 30 million, meaning a death toll of 400+ million to put into perspective is like wiping every single person in the US and nearly all of that in Canada off the face of the Earth 2) Needless destruction of civilian infrastructure is today considered a war crime; Civilian infrastructure such as dams can no longer be targeted by militaries unless very specific circumstances allow for it such as if the dam was being used as a base of operations in command and control for the adversary in question And even then a competent military commander would recognize the threat of the potential dam and be very precise in their targeting to limit the structural damage 3) Whoever ordered the complete destruction on the dam would be the newest mass murderer in history; A 400 million loss of life would make the Austrian painter and the Soviet crime boss, and the Chinese communist leader be regulated to water droplets in the newest ocean of blood and the conflict from that would surpass WW2 as the deadliest conflict in the history of mankind

It's been a long time coming but yes I finally hope Sweden and Finland will join the NATO alliance Because as we have all seen if you are not protected under article 5 you are on your own and while you probably can push Russia back Finland in the event of an invasion You'd rather not be invaded in the first place and would need some sort of deterrent to prevent Russia from looking at you with their expansionist eyes

  49.  @bobbobbinson1841  Yeah no. The western world has done exceptionally well at celebrating and promoting foreigners and the foreign culture. China on the other hand does not. It is infamous for its denial of services to foreigners and it's own non-Han ethnic groups just look at the current situation for the Uyghurs, and the Manchus in the past. It only allows 3 foreign films a year to be seen in its entirety for god sake. No matter how long you reside in the country even if you marry a Chinese citizen if you are foreign you will never have the ability to gain social standing. You cannot be apart in their government, you can't run for mayor, you can't be a police officer, you can't have your religious practices be respected, you are openly discouraged from using your native language, and you cannot serve in their military meanwhile you can do all of this and more in the US. You will also never gain citizenship they only have Jus Sanguinis not Jus Soli. Unlike in the United States where once born on US soil you are automatically a citizen regardless of the status of your parents. And the application of Jus Sanguinis is very restricted to racial discrimination. If you do not look Chinese even though you had a Chinese parent you are not a Chinese citizen. An example is if a Black individual married a Chinese individual and their child had been born with black skin, nope you are denied citizenship of the Chinese nation. I can list more than just this but if you don't get it now that the West is actually promoting world cultures while the Chinese government is doing the opposite then no amount of words I will write us going to convince you.
