I enjoy studying Turkish history and the culture that was built around it. From the Hittites, to Osman the I, to Atatürk. And I don't want to condemn the people who live in the country in its entirety. Has Turkey reached the point where it's citizens must share blame for every failure of its government? I really don't think so. will that change in the future? I don't know, because it's not up to me to dictate how the people of Turkey want to choose their path forward, it's up to the Turks.

Turkey is the only NATO member to openly encourage and declare hostility against another NATO member, Greece, attack that NATO member and annex territory held by that same NATO member, Cyprus, and yet it still retains NATO membership why????? Because in the world of geopolitics morality and legality is useless. The only thing that matters is national interests and capabilities. And Turkey offers many strategic advantages to deter an approaching force coming from the east.

I agree, but the current population of Taiwan don't want to actively participate in developing a state of military readiness They simply just do a mandatory conscription service of merely a few months then don't continue after I think it's unwise for the Taiwanese government to not be more assertive in its conscription lengthening it's service period, I'd suggest 1 year, and also in trying to gain more military career commited recruits

I found a few things about Finland and it's issues of the YPG Sweden has hosted Syrian political figures affiliated with the YPG in a show of support for its political project in northeast Syria And they halted an arms sale in 2019 to Turkey when Turkey attacked the YPG in Syria (As a side note it is only Turkey who considers YPG to be a terror group and affiliated with the PKK The YPG is not on the terror list by the US)
