This is true but if Ukraine fails badly in Crimea it could be the end of the Ukrainian resistance to the Russian aggression and annexation The Ukrainians will have to plan every single meticulous detail and tread carefully around Crimea because of the physical geography of the region So that quote could have a double entendre in meaning in regards towards Crimea

  2.  @IusedtohaveausernameIliked  You're not understanding Alexei Navalny is the opposition leader to Putin he's been imprisoned, tortured, poisoned and nearly assassinated many times on orders from Putin directly He has called for the end of the Putin regime and wants democratic institutions within Russia And yet despite all that even he wants access to Crimea, its just showing that even the geostrategic interests of Russia as a nation supercede the split in Russia's politics
