"Armies don't start wars politicians do" Unless you are the imperial japanese army which literally disobeyed orders and attacked the Chinese eventually that conflict would turn into a section of WW2

@TheReaper569 nope Pakistan and it's military did the same thing disobeying orders from it's central command They did that about 3 times now if I remember correctly 🤔

@TheReaper569 also so did the Russians they disobeyed orders from Boris Yeltsin and fired upon the government buildings in Moscow in the late 1990s And the current situation in the region of Tigray in northern Ethiopia, military forces there began disobeying the central government and starting a violent conflict that has the potential to turn into a civil war

Also so did Mustafa Kamal Attaturk refusing the orders given to him by the sultan after the ottoman defeat in WW1 and sparking the conflict to lead to Turkish independence

@TheReaper569 no just trying to illustrate to you how commonplace it is and it's not an exception at all, nor is it a rule of any kind this isn't a numbers game buddy where I have to show you more and more examples to break your statement because what I said isn't a competition or a contest and you don't need to see it as such, it's just history But I will give even more examples of conflicts being started by militaries rather than politicians from around the world simply to show a non bias America did it when Commadore Matthew C. Perry disobeyed orders and forcefully opened up the nation of japan by firing his ship's cannon upon the capital city As well as Mustafa Kamal Attaturk refusing to carry out orders from the Ottoman Sultan for the enforcement of the Allied Treaty upon the ottomans following the their defeat in WW1, he instead sparked a conflict that lead to Turkish independence Alexander Khodakovsy left service of the Ukrainian government to help lead the 2014 pro Russian rebels for the ongoing war in Donbas

Yep as soon as the ottomans were getting ready to leave the Balkans those same groups started fighting amongst themselves, despite having lived peacefully for centuries, before the ottomans were even gone They did this so that each group could attempt to claim more for themselves once the ottomans finally did leave

@overdose8329 wow 😳...those Tigray sure move fast who knew?

@MasonGreenWeed yep I posted like over half dozen examples of military forces refusing to listen to their central authority to the first commenter in this thread Hakan who just flatly refused to see how commonplace it is Oh well, that's the internet for you 😅 no matter what there's always someone who will disagree no matter what evidence you show them
