  2.  @shane7646  crypto is a security Did you read what a Security is? It's a large category of goods that crypto will fall under by inevitable action, not merely by regulation.

  3.  @zachburskey8868  Courts have treated all cases involving theft of Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency as a Securities claim. The jurisprudence is set already and the only reason the SEC wouldn't do something would be if it were politically disadvantageous to do so.
