BTW this is what paranoid schizophrenia looks like. Most people with schizophrenia and paranoid schizophrenia will not do things to others such as violence - but it will make them act irrational and they WILL BEHAVE extreme. Sometimes they can tell when it's voices, but most of the time they are just reacting to a random train of thoughts that enter their mind. I feel sorry for the woman who suffered and their families, but I do not blame the crazy girl. The fault is entirely with the fact that mental Healthcare is ignored and mostly inaccessible in our country.

Yeah people are dumb af. It's like saying Xanax causes panic attacks when people are prescribed or for anxiety disorders

@WoundedWarrior2012 Yeeeeeah I'm 50/50 on this one.

Everyone in the comments here is acting surprised. It's projected ambivalence. It's when a person knows or feels like something is wrong, so they are extremely outspoken against the action or item to distance themselves from it. Ironically, going on a political campaign against the act or item will place the subject in closer proximity to the act or item without the scrutiny of being a person who would commit that act or use that item.

@taquitobandito6054 Or (hear me out) cost of living makes being a single parent to twins almost impossible without a partner.

It's moreso a combination of things. But yeah always lawyer up and let them get antsy answering the questions

@curiouslyme524 There are tons of examples of people who aren't POI but are in an interrogation room just because it's a legal recording area w/ audio

@twillymantheoneandonly5587 well, strict firearm regulations and limited firearm ownership have worked out in literally every other nation.

@greygray6230 They will prioritize a hostage situation or abduction over any other house calls. The first two numbers are indicating the priority of response and the second number is the crime under that listing. That's what those numbers are when they are using the radio. People say "Fuck 12" because in a lot of major metro areas, the call sign they use is 12.

She was a kid. She can be better

@emxilyk I spray painted walls as a kid. Went to Juvie. Never touched the stuff again and got involved in community works projects. Literally none of us are the same people that we were as teenagers. That happens at around age 23 or so. Would I trust her with my family? No. Would I drink a beer with her? Definitely no lol She's only had toilet wine up until this point. But would I treat her normally? Yeah.

@emxilyk We, as a society, have to believe in second chances in all but the most-extraordinary of instances. The world will not function right if we throw the book at anyone and everyone, all the time. Especially kids. She has an actual mental health issue that wasn't being treated at the time and - hopefully - she has her priorities and goals worked out by now. The world cannot function if there are no second chances. Everyone at every point in time will have had to act perfectly harmonious - extreme or otherwise. Yes being a teenager doesn't mean it's natural to kill another person, or even normal to ... but being a teenager DOES mean that a person is struggling hard with themselves as they go through extreme emotional changes, and that neither you nor I are the same person that we were when we were that age.

This dude totally dehumanizes the victim. He can't even name an activity he has done with the daughter outside of "TV" - No throwing ball. No paddy cake. No going to parks. No helping with homework. Hell he didn't even list "driving around" like my dad would probably say. This child was always an object of convenience to him.
