@Dan-cm9ow are you kidding? Crime rates were at their highest from the 50s to the 90s - mainly due to a post-war production boom fueling outstanding - yet unequal - economic growth, and the proliferation of lead in the air due to gasoline consumption. I want a world where I don't have to be worried about a hobo w/ an ID walking in and out of a pawn shop and selling it straight to the wrong people. I'd prefer an engaged melee with a knife over the struggle for a firearm, and if you believe otherwise then you don't respect firearms enough to be a responsible gun owner.
