  1. Ma'am. I don't believe that you are a historian that isn't aware of what the scale of the Smithsonian Museum. It's up there with the British Museum in its collections and preservation measures on all kinds of work. They even have a full-on, historical pigment database for restoring paintings - including "Mummy" Yellow aka ground up Mummy bodies. They aren't losing funding. They were told to remove the items.
