  2.  @jaha777jaha6  Well maybe, "naïve" is a better word then. Forgive yourself for having believed all the BS they threw at you even when it was obvious it was all BS. You know in psychology you can feel guilty for things that were not inherently wrong, I am sure that happened to you as well.

  3. It's all part of the process of learning. Forgiveness is key, we live the lesson, we learn the lesson, we move on and grow.

  4.  @jaha777jaha6  Maybe you misunderstood what I wrote but by "forgiveness" I was meaning forgiveness for yourself, not them.

  5.  @jaha777jaha6  It's true but as OP said "get mad at yourself" you have to put your mind at peace, self-forgiveness helps for that purpose.

  7. And it's actually easy when you ACCEPT what you see and what your gut tells you. Let's be honest we all see when we are manipulated, they don't even hide it anymore, the thing is just to be able accept it and walk away.
