That reminds me of something that happened to me not so long ago. I was in a supermarket and there waa a couple, I'd say in their late 60 or early 70. The wife was taking ages to pick some meat and the husband was behind waiting, looking at me apologetically because I was waiting too. Then eventually she made her choice and I said to the man "you see, that's why I don't get married". He put his hand on my shoulder and the look he gave me told more than any word he could say.

I'll tell you something, the only times I have been disrespected and dumped is when I was nice and caring. When I didn't give a damn, guess what, that never happened, quite tge opposite actually.

What ia mind-blowing is that we still talk about marriage in the West in 2024. Gotta show that men have been brainwashed good with that BS as well, especially in America.

Those who are taking about changing the laws are in total denial, completely delusional, they are looking at the tree without seeing the forest behind. These people can't accept that marriage, well actually, even the monogamous relationships era is over in the West, it's completely done. They still live in the past. I remember of book, called "Love 2.0" I read more than 20 years ago that was exactly describing today's situation. These people have to let go of their magic fantasy they have been BSted with in their childhood. The 80s/90s are over and done.
