@HouseMusicNinja Yeah, personally I can't really blame them because, now, at 41yo, I don't see things the way I saw them at 31yo, not even talking about when I was 21yo which was basically living in Fantasyland.
Also, 15 years ago, I would wake up thinking about p* and go to bed thinking about p*.
Today, I essentially give a crap. Last time a smashed, while I was doing it I was thinking about how to imrpove my base's air lock system in Space Engineers... Yeah, essentially, with age, money and experience, all your perspective about pretty much everything change.

@HouseMusicNinja Yes. Unfortunately, we had to learn all that stuff the hard way because there was no internet and unless you were lucky enough to have a father who would explain some basic stuff to you, you were essentially clueless. Then, you would forget the bull you've been taught or saw in the movies and learn and accept f n for what it is.
The good thing of being from our generation however, is that at least we were lucky to experience dating before social media, when 20yo chicks were interested in 20yo dudes and even the beautiful ones had a choice of like 20 dudes in her immediate social circle, not 200.000+ from their smartphones (which didn't exist yet by the way). It was a time where game and personality had a big impact on your success with w, now the only thing that has an impact is the size of your wallet and your height (for some obscure reason). I miss the 90s, early 2000s, with all the flirting involved, these were good times.

@notacompleteidiot...1285 I understand that, although... Despite I am 6"3, I have no recognition of having been ever praised for my height when I was dating regularly back then, in fact I had mates way shorter than me who were pretty much successful at dating.
Now, last chick I had, about 3 years ago was all the time: You're so tall, such a giant, have you grown from last time I saw you and a lot of stupid sht like that, like an obsession. The one I had before, same thing to some extent. And actually it's not only height, all about superficial stuff, appearances, status, bragging in front of other chicks. There was a bit of that back then but not to that extent.
By the way Taylor is right when he says they don't give a single crap about your values, honesty and morals, it's like totally irrelevant, that kind of changed too.
