  1. This is SO relatable. I have not stayed in many jobs long because ultimately despite the fear, self-doubt and uncertainty that comes with self-employment, I cannot stand to unhappily work for someone else or a company and am way more happy and wealthier when I work for myself and am actually happy doing what I do and don’t feel trapped. I was also lucky to work and save when I was young to afford myself flexibility and autonomy in my 30s. Fear of instability and uncertainty keeps people trapped in jobs they hate.
