I think the Chinese need stuff they cannot produce ditto for India, Africa. When the EU started it was a trading block before it was taken over by DEI and cultural Marxism which is leading ultimately to its destruction. Countries including Ireland will find themselves out of the EU and stuck with all these misfits that they accepted because they thought it was a good idea to sell out their country for virtue signaling and pensions.
