@genem895 that wasn't the Americans. That was people who wanted to leave with the Americans. The US wasn't stopped in Afghanistan. They set up a government. That government failed, and was held by the US. It had no legs. The US was committed to leaving even after so it didn't go through it again. It was already leaving when the afghan government lost. It didn't fight in that conflict.

@puranappu8043 they're fighting Ukraine. Ukraine with donations from it's allies to supplement their military is still just Ukraine. Even if Ukraine had NATO training and equipment... It would just be 1 country. So Russia can't beat 1 nato-esque country.
