  1. KuroiHato69 I think it's weird the idea that someone can like Something and not explore it. I roll my eyes whenever someone explains that Japan isn't like anime. Because I read up about Japanese foods, gods, festivals and any thing I had a question about. I already Know this. Something like an anime or a drama that depicts Life In a country is just a seed to look into it more. Like a lot of people got into soccer, martial arts, or anything because maybe it was covered in a manga or Anime or even a movie like karate Kid or video game like street fighter.

  2. kayjmac42 this is the first I'm hearing of this Korean wave. I don't watch k dramas. Most people I know have heard about it, good things but don't watch it. And almost no one knows anything about k pop. I don't listen to k pop at all. It's funny that it does sound like telenovelas. They have the same stereotypes. Maybe all soap operas do.
